Peter Bendall
Peter Bendall is a reflections photographer. A majority of his reflections are of architecture which has been reflected in thing such as puddles or windows. While most people would think that a puddle is an everyday nuisance that gets your feet wet Peter Bendall sees them as a new way of showing the world old buildings. However although the reflections themselves may be good the surroundings/majority of the image is rather plain and not as appealing as the thing Peter Bendall is trying to photograph. E.G the reflection of the Eiffel Tower in a car bonnet just looks like a picture of an old unclean car that someone might put on social media.
A small amount of Peter Bendalls work stands out from the rest though, as he photographs moving water (in places such as rivers, lakes and the ocean) to create a distorted reflection. These images work incredibly well as they challenge the person viewing the image to work out what the reflection could be leaving it up to the imagination whether it is a building or a boat or something else entirely. These images have been edited so that their colours pop and are vivid which also helps to capture attention and make the image much more interesting. My personal favourate image of Peter Bendalls is the orange rippled reflection with a group of gulls floating on the water as I think the bright orange colour with the white birds work well to counter each other.

Hubert Steed
Hubart Steed is another reflective photographer, his work differs from Peter Bendall's as he is city based with his photography. His images are mostly the large buildings reflected in a storefront window. I feel that this creates powerful images for example there is one image that has a mannequin in a black dress with the reflection of a car and a building and the way the image is set up makes the mannequin seem 3 story's high, the contrast in this image has been turned up so that other things within the store window are less visible to make it look like the figure is stood in front of the building that is reflected. Both the figure and the building in this photo are manmade objects which are what Hubert Steed seems to mainly photograph. Another image of his is a photographs which is my personal favorite out of the work I have seen is of a mannequin with angel wings with a building reflected behind it. The contrast on this image has been altered so that it looks as though the angel is flying upwards across the building, my interpretation of this image is that the mannequin is looking upwards towards the heavens.
